Reliability Centre India to provide System Assurance (RAMS) Engineering services Singapore Technologies, Singapore
In November 2013, ST Electronics secured from Marubeni Corp and Toshiba Corp Joint Venture (MTJV Thailand Co. Ltd), a contract worth over S$85m for the supply of rail electronics solutions for the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) Purple Line in Bangkok, Thailand.

ST Electronics will design, supply, install and commission a turnkey integrated solution for Communications, Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system, Automatic Fare Collection System (AFC) and Platform Screen Door System (PSD) for the Bangkok MRT Purple Line.

ST Electronics has contracted Reliability Centre India to provide RAMS services for the Purple Line Project for a period of 16 months till the year 2017. The services being provided by Reliability Centre India include the delivery of the following documents:-

Reliability Centre India engaged as sub contractor to AECOM for DFCCI project in India
Birinder Singh of Reliability Centre India was engaged by AECOM as a sub consultant to Identify and Detail the Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Safety (RAMS) performance requirements for execution of a contract by D&B contractor of the Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India (DFCCI).

The RAMS performance requirements were defined for the following rail systems:-

(i)Electric Traction System
(a) Traction Power Supply System
(b) Traction Power Distribution System
(c) SCADA system

(ii) Signalling System

(iii) Telecommunication System

The aim of the engagement was to produce Bid documents for the Eastern Sector of Dedicated Freight Corridor. The engagement included meetings and presentations to DFCCI and World Bank.
